Measure The Rice

Firstly, measure the rice if you want to cook rice for yourself. You need 3 cups of rice. But if for a large family, you need 7 to 8 cups of rice.

Rinse The Rice

Some people don’t follow this step. Take a sieve and put the rice in it. It removes the pesticides and herbicides and makes our rice clean. Repeat the process 3 to 4 times.

Measure The Water

Quantity and quality of rice choose how much water requires. If you have white rice, you need one ¼ cup of water by a ratio of 1 cup rice. But if you have brown rice, you need 1 ½ to 1 ¾ cup of water for 1 cup rice.

Soak The Rice

Don’t Remove The Lid

You can do other work on the sideway. When the rice cooker shows the signal of completion, don’t remove the cover instantly. Wait for 15 min so that all the rice settles down.
